Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CutVector ("the Service"), operated by FormChime ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to them.

1. What the Service does

CutVector converts raster images into vector cut files. All processing happens locally in your web browser. Your images and output files are never uploaded to, stored on, or transmitted to our servers.

2. Your content and rights — important

You may only convert images that you own or that you have the legal right (license, permission, or other lawful basis) to copy, modify and reproduce. You must not use the Service to convert, trace, or reproduce images, artwork, logos, characters, trademarks or other material that you do not have the rights to use, including copyrighted designs from other sellers, brands, or licensed characters. You are solely responsible for the images you process and for any use, sale or distribution of the resulting files. Because we never receive your files, we do not review them, and nothing we provide grants you any rights in third-party content. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your violation of this section.

3. Licenses and payment

Pro is a one-time purchase processed by our merchant of record, Polar (polar.sh), which handles payment, taxes and invoices. A Pro license key may be activated on up to 3 devices for your own use (personal or commercial). You may not share, resell or publish license keys. Files you create with the Service are yours to use, subject to Section 2.

4. Refunds

You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Refunds deactivate the license key. Email support@formchime.com or reply to your receipt.

5. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to circumvent licensing, overload the Service, or use it for unlawful purposes.

6. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is". Always test cut files on scrap material first. We are not liable for wasted material, machine damage, or indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

7. Availability

Pro purchases are not available in Japan. We may update these terms; continued use means acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Trademarks

Cricut and Design Space are trademarks of Cricut, Inc.; Silhouette, Glowforge, xTool and LightBurn are trademarks of their respective owners. CutVector is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
